Priscilla developed a love of rocks as a child enjoying nature with her family. She enhanced her knowledge of rocks and minerals as a geology major at the University of Northern Colorado. A class in Gemology was a highlight and cemented her love of gems and semi-precious stones.

Following a career in environmental science and international diplomacy (based in Alaska) a visit to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show launched her interest in making jewelry from natural stones and gems. Early works were tested on her Mother and close relatives and friends. She has displayed and sold her jewelry in a gallery in Anchorage Alaska, and now at the Rox Arts Gallery at Aspen Grove, Littleton Colorado.

Priscilla focuses her jewelry making on necklaces, earrings and bracelets made from natural stones: jaspers, agates, quartz, turquoise, coral and other colorful stones. Her inspiration is the natural colors of our environment. She especially enjoys creating necklaces to match or compliment a client’s clothes or for special events.
